It’s safe to say that we were pretty excited about showing off Hitman: Absolution at E3 this year. Confidence in the game was very high on our side, but it’s always nerve wracking to show off code for the first time. Will the build crash? Will the guys playing the game cave under the pressure? Will the game deliver? Will people understand what we’re trying to show them?

Looking at this year’s E3, we have to say that Hitman: Absolution delivered. We’ve been blessed with a torrent of nominations (32 at the time of this writing) and a serious flow of ‘winner’ labels is rolling over us this week - yesterday with Most Atmospheric Game and Best Overall Game from The Game Effect - and now with five (5!) awards from Gamespot: Best Action/Adventure Game, Best PC Game, Best PS3 Game, Best Xbox360 Game and the most sought after one of the all - Best Overall Game. This brings us up to 14 won awards and hopefully we’re not done yet!
